The Store is Crap. All the fish have some sickness or disease.

We just can't afford to go there again....

We've been to the store twice and found interesting selections of freshwater fish and a friendly and helpful staff.

But....

ALL of the fish from our last two purchases were infected with anchor worms (not one fish in our aquaria had these before purchasing at Wet Pets; the first to exhibit these were the fish from Wet Pets; they've spead now to many other fish.)

We've been treating these with medicine and the requisite water change trying to purge the tanks of these parasites. The medicine itself shocked a good number of fish (previously healthy until introduced to the Wet Pets purchases) and a number of them--not cheapies, either--have died.

We're now faced with breaking down several tanks entirely and bleaching everything and rebuilding from scratch. Our purchases at Wet Pets have been far too expensive.

We appreciate the nice variety and the friendly staff, but the fish we purchased there have been a complete and utter disaster.

It isn't worth the trip.
